A Dystopian City

A 3D game environment made from scratch. While I had previously made an environment before I wanted to delve in deeper into the creation of an entire environment. For this project, I decided to create an environment from scratch. I decided to focus more on atmosphere and a general feel for the environment than a fully playable level. I started off with a series of sketches followed by a few simple block-outs to get a better sense of the scale of the sketches that I enjoyed the most. After having settled on an idea I began making a concept piece that would dictate the overall layout of the environment. This piece influenced the overall 3D environment and was the main reference for this project. The final result included sounds and a small set of animations that are not visible on the screenshots. The final scene was built in Unity with the URP (Universal Render Pipeline) pipeline
